Obstacle Opposing Giant

Elliott - the Obstacle Opposing Giant
"Fe Fi Fo Fum, I smell carrots. Yum!"

Twelve pounds of power drive Elliott full tilt into whatever he does. He rushes around his backyard like he is preparing for a race. (Maybe Lilly the tortoise could take him on!)

Elliott, the Giant Flemish Rabbit, would make a serious contender if anyone every created Bunny Crashed Ice. Impulsive and exuberant, Elliot is the ultimate uninhibited athlete.

Elliott may be only two days into his training for the Bunny Agility Course, but his hop-to-it attitude makes him a star amongst his not-so-giant competition.

Lily Pad Leaper Shar Pei Mix

Flora - the Lily Pad Leaper Shar Pei Mix
"Hello. Pet me. Hello. Pet me. Hello. Hello! Hello!!!"

Meet Flora, the Labrador, American Bulldog, and Shar Pei mix. She's very happy to meet you, because greeting people is her official job. Her unofficial job is looking adorable and smiling on command.

The first time she met Ericka it didn't go quite as Flora planned and instead of lovely belly rubs, Flora awoke with a shaved tummy. As one of Ericka's first spay patients, Flora made a big contribution to Ericka's career, and Ericka offered to share her home and veterinary office with Flora. Both agree that the arrangement turned out great. Although, there was one miscommunication incident where Flora thought she'd redecorate the apartment with confetti she carefully created by chewing three years of vet school notes.

Flora works hard, and she plays... well... she plays awkwardly. She once confused lily pads with grass  and tried to run on the lily pads. Flora didn't float. She sank, and as she popped her head out of the water, she looked shocked. Whether that shock was for the surprise bath or the hysterically laughing witnesses on shore we'll never know.

Irrepressible Idol Chin

Sadie - the Irrepressible Idol Chin
"A diva must always look divine."

Those flowing locks. That perfect button nose. That (mostly) calm demeanor. Sadie was born to be adored as a show dog from the first moment her tiny paw alighted on her first silk cushion. Until the unthinkable happened... her legs got too long. (This human wouldn't mind having such a problem.)

Now retired from her career as a champion Japanese Chin, Sadie enjoys greeting fellow rescued Chins and Tibetan Spaniels, human friends, and horses. Occasionally, she'll goes to extremes to visit her equine neighbors. She'll use those long legs to jump the back fence.

No worries, though. Sadie always knows the way back to her front door. After all, she convinced three different potential adopters that her home was with her original foster family from Luv-a-chin.

Click Sadie's painting to learn more about her from the family Sadie chose to adopt.

Ye Olde Yertle Tortoise

Lilly - Ye Olde Yertle Tortoise
"Oh the places I go! But always at my own pace."

Lady Lillian loves the Renaissance Festival, schools, animal events, parties, and the track! She's not much of a speed racer, but this good-hearted soul enjoys doing her part, carrying the donation basket at a cancer relay. She raised an extra $80 bucks all by herself!

Lilly is wise beyond her mere 8 years, and this Sulcata Tortoise could live to be 150 years old. She's a working tortoise, acting as an embassador for the reptile world with her edutainer companion Angie.

However, it's not all work for Lilly. She gets a real kick out of walking up to dogs, who get very confused by that moving rock.
