Luci - the Teensy Tenacious Teacup

"What is it?!" said Glenn when he saw the adoption photo of Luci, the teacup poodle. Long, scraggly fur jutting out in all directions gave Luci the appearance of a wild rodent.

At only 1 pound, 15 ounces, she's smaller than the average guinea pig. The really shocking thing is she's full grown. She turns 3 years old in November.

Despite her ultra-petite size, Luci is 100% dog.  Frenetic energy drives this tiny clown into some hysterically funny situations, like when she clamps onto her big brother's ear, and he drags her across the kitchen floor like the world's smallest mop.

And although she could fit in your shirt pocket, don't think you could forget Luci there. She grumbles under her breath and mumbles "nerm, nerm, nerm" to let you know she's not to be taken lightly.

Naughty Nibbler Keeshond

Ace - the Naughty Nibbler Keeshond

At 12 weeks old, Ace is just beginning to discover the big bold world and all that his big fluffy paws can do.

This lucky Keeshond pup has already flown on an airplane. He's met and played with dogs of all shapes and sizes. He's even learned to give high fives.

Ace has an unlimited supply of energy. Sometimes that can turn destructive, like the time he shredded Tracy's sandals. Sometimes that energy can make everything right in the world, like when he throws those fluffy paws around your neck for snuggles at the end of the day.

Kisses for Tracey as Ace proves he can be a good boy.

Those arctic blue eyes, those ample ears, and that perfect widow's peak combine to make Ziva a very distinctive looking dog. People often "ooh and ahhh" about her beauty, but she doesn't hear a word of it. She deaf.

As a rescue dog, her past will always be a mystery, but her future with her loving family couldn't be brighter. She's learning doggie sign language very quickly with the enticement of yummy, delicious smelling treats.

"But what kind of dog is she?" you ask. According to a recent genetic test Ziva is a Beagle... mixed with a Poodle... and a little White Swiss Shepherd... with a dash of Pomeranian. However, her rescuers say her mother was a Corgi.

At her heart, Ziva is a well-loved member of a family with her own yard and two squirrel friends who like to play chase.

Winnie is a girl of two minds. Her Golden Retriever side loves to make a grand escape in pursuit of new friends. She's been known to clear a 6 foot fence with ease to surprise the neighbors. And this DIY dog will knock down a few fence boards for a more open concept yard with a better view of the wildlife.

She's also a really great dog, and her Australian Shepherd side always brings her home to her front door.

Winnie knows just how lucky she is to have her human flock. Her forever family went to the pet store looking to replace the daughter's recently departed fish, and they just knew they had to rescue Winnie.

Despite a rough start to her life, Winnie instantly loves every person she meets. She stays super calm, surrounded by a busy family of six and is hoping to pass her therapy dog test soon.
